Evening Classes

Thursday 7pm until 10pm, Fortnightly

Or

Tuesday 7pm until 10pm, Fortnightly

 

Daytime classes

Tuesday mornings 9.30 until 12.30 fortnighly (term time only).

Classes are £14 per three hour class, can be bought in blocks of six for a saving of £14, so pay for 5 get one class free.

Whole day are available, prices vary on number of students attending. Please phone for information.

 

I would recommend that those who have no previous knowledge of jewellery making do an evening class, (which will be held fortnightly), to learn basic techniques before signing up for a day course.
Gift Vouchers

Class gift vouchers are available for evening and day classes. Pay for six classes at once and get one free.

Basic tools are available for use, but if you have your own please bring them.

I believe that a jeweller cannot be proficient at every skill and technique required to make jewellery, so I would encourage students to use specialist craftspeople for things like casting, lapidary work, enamelling, etching and engraving.

 

 

Jewellery Workshops

The jewellery workshops are suitable for beginners and those with some experience. A maximum of six students will take part in the workshops. Over the course of several weeks or months I hope to cover the basic jewellery techniques, reiterating these every session and to go on to more advanced skills such as fly-pressing, surface texturing, small box making and reticulating.

I do not have the facilities to cover enamelling or lapidary work.

The jewellery workshop is situated near Steyning, West Sussex.

Please feel free to bring your own equipment , ideas, designs and sketchbooks.

Your own transport is required, as we are not well served by public transport.
